Eggless Cake Mix Cookies Recipe

Soft, delicious cookies made with just a few simple ingredients and absolutely no eggs needed. Perfect for anyone with an egg allergy, or for those times you just don’t have any on hand.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box cake mix any flavour
  • ½ cup oil
  • ¼ cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup mix-ins chocolate chips, sprinkles, etc.

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, oil and yogurt. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Fold in your chosen mix-ins until evenly distributed.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.
  5. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, until the edges are set and the centres look slightly soft.
  6. Cool on the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

A neutral-flavoured yogurt works best so it does not compete with the cake mix flavour. If you are dairy-free as well, a plant-based yogurt works just as well here.
